A Furniture Fair that gives you a chance to meet 50% of the potential French market
A real crossroads for business with the Ile-de-France, Normandy, Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Limousin, Poitou-Charentes, Aquitaine and Centre regions, this is the major event organised by furnishing entrepreneurs for the wholesalers in this high-potential area. It is positioned as a trade fair but also acts as a shop window for trends and new products.
Because the region is fast emerging as an economic power, Western France, the leading region for furniture manufacture, is focusing on a form of proximity favourable to setting up networks, which is the key to commercial success.
Who's exhibiting ?

Exhibitors : a source of inspiration
Exhibitors have well understood the usefulness of the fair.
Although the Furniture Fair is mainly dedicated to furniture, it also covers the whole home interior range. It is open to exhibitors who are manufacturers or wholesalers of furniture, bedding, living room furniture, layout, decoration, lighting, materials, accessories and services. Over the 3 days, visitors can build up an appropriate, creative range of products.
The products offered by exhibitors are positioned between mid-range and top end of the range; all styles are represented, with quality as the common denominator.

Who visits ?
Selected, invited visitors
As the aim of the event is to meet exhibitors’ legitimate demand for a return on investment, the fair is exclusively for trade visitors and a selection of specialists from the world of interior decoration and design. Access to the fair is free for trade visitors. Directors and buyers from invited firms are the privileged guests of the fair.
In detail, visitors to the fair are furniture wholesalers, fitters, upmarket design and decoration shops, interior decorators, lighting distributors, bathroom manufacturers and distributors, kitchen fitters, tertiary and commercial design studios.
Maximum proximity and accessibility: the decision-makers are there
Nantes is only 2hr from Paris by TGV (return journey in the day), with over twenty trains a day. It also has an international airport (www.nantes.aeroport.fr) offering flights to major French cities (15 direct destinations in France) and Europe. It is served by both major and low-cost airlines. La Beaujoire exhibition centre is situated on the Nantes ring road and is thus within easy reach of visitors arriving via the motorway networks linking Nantes to twenty departments (the dual carriageway between Nantes and Brittany is totally free).
Visitors are happier to travel when they know that the journey is an easy one.

The security of a recognised organiser
Expo Nantes Atlantique, a subsidiary of the Nantes St-Nazaire CCI and sole operator of the La Beaujoire Exhibition Centre in Nantes, hosts or organises nearly 80 events every year.
Among other events, it organises the Housing Preference Show (35,000 visitors) and the Nantes International Fair (110,000 visitors), which are the biggest general public events in Western France linked to the world of the home.
It also organises well-known national and European trade fairs such as the Western France Industry Show and “Serbotel” (France’s 3rd biggest food industry show).
The fair is organised in partnership with the “Amicale des Représentants Grand Ouest Ameublement”, a group of 80 members of the trade representing nearly 400 brands.
An "eco-designed" event
Expo Nantes Atlantique is committed to a sustainable development approach and is aiming to turn the La Beaujoire Exhibition Centre into one of Europe’s very first eco-responsible Centres.
As a result, the printers that we use have the “Imprim Vert” (Green Print) label, and we send out as much of our correspondence as possible via the Internet.
Waste from the fair will be sorted and recycled (over 80% will be recovered), including carpeting.
The La Beaujoire site is linked to the TGV station and city centre by an electrically operated tramway.
A great host city
Nantes offers all the advantages of a city used to hosting major events :
- A compact, lively city centre
- An original, sophisticated gastronomic tradition
- 5,000 hotel rooms
- Very easy access.
Exploring Nantes
Nantes looks out towards the world and its history is inspired by its international outlook. A river and sea port, Nantes cultivates its role as an important trading centre. Universities, research establishments and business are all to be found here, thriving in outstanding facilities. The home town of Jules Verne, the city where Airbus is assembled and the birthplace of some of the world’s great liners, Nantes and its surrounding region have for centuries made travel, creativity and, of course, hospitality the three components of its identity. Exhibitor entrepreneurs are particularly well received here by the event organisers and by their customer markets.
